It's time for something different! With Spring coming, you may be looking for a little bit extra to match your mood. A single-colour Gel Polish manicure looks gorgeous, but did you know that it's possible to do DIY nail art designs at home with Gel Polish?

Gel Polish is even easier than regular nail polish to create nail art with. When you're pimping your manicure, you don't have to worry about smudges as you cure every single step and colour you use.

When your nail art creation is finished, you have plenty of time to show off! Your Gel Polish nail art manicure can even last up to ten days. That's a lot of time to show all your friends, wear matching outfits and take cute pictures for the 'gram.

Now the better weather is coming, we'll show you the cutest and simple nail art ideas that are ideal for spring! Your nails will spread the spring-vibe with colourful daisies, a shower of hearts look or a double the colours, double the fun mani.

These nail designs are perfect to create at home, also beautiful for short nails and best of all – they can be done with all our PN Selfgel colours! Continue reading for the step by step nail art ideas.

Shower of hearts

Give yourself a warm a ray of hearts ! This cheerful design will instantly put a smile on your face.

    1. Before you start always wash your hands and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
    2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to thoroughly clean all nails.
    3. Apply a small dose of PN Selfgel Prepper on all nails. Press the liquid into the nail using the application brush. Start from the free edge of the nail and move towards the cuticles. Let it dry for a few seconds. You do not need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
    4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. You don't need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
    5. Apply 1 layer of Selfgel colour Natural Beauty and cure 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
    6. Use Selfgel colour Atomic Red and the Dotting Tool to paint a dot at the base of each nail and gently drag upwards (with the Fine Brush) to create the hearts arcs. Cure 30 seconds under the LED lamp.
    7. Finish your nail art by applying PN Selfgel Finish over your design and cure 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
    8. Remove the remaining sticky layer on all nails using a PN Cleanser wipe to reveal the impeccable shine.

            EXPERT TIP! If you experience a heat sensation during curing in the lamp, use the 60-second low heat mode instead of the 30-second mode.

            Colourful daisies

            Do you also love flashy colours and the smell of fresh flowers during Spring? Lets create that feeling everytime you look at your nails !

            1. Before you start always wash your hands and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
            2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to thoroughly clean all nails.
            3. Apply a small dose of PN Selfgel Prepper on all nails. Press the product into the nail using the application brush. Start from the free edge of the nail and move towards the cuticles. Let it dry for a few seconds. You do not need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
            4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. You don't need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
            5. Apply 2 layers of Selfgel colour Bubblegum and cure each layer for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
            6. Take Selfgel colour Atomic Red & Selfgel Indigo Dye and apply the daisies with the Dotting Tool. Cure your design for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
            7. Finish your nail art by applying PN Selfgel Finish on all nails and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
            8. Remove the remaining sticky layer on all nails using a PN Cleanser wipe to reveal the impeccable shine.

                          Double the colours, double the fun

                          Do you have a hard time choosing between your favourite colours ? Let's combine them ! This playful nail art gives your nails the attention they deserve .

                          1. Before you start always wash your hands and prepare your nails with a mini manicure.
                          2. Take a PN Cleanser Wipe to thoroughly clean all nails.
                          3. Apply a small dose of PN Selfgel Prepper on all nails. Press the product into the nail using the application brush. Start from the free edge of the nail and move towards the cuticles. Let it dry for a few seconds. You do not need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
                          4. Apply 1 layer of PN Selfgel Peelable Base on all nails. Let it dry for 30 seconds. You don't need to cure this under the Selfgel LED lamp.
                          5. Apply 2 layers of Selfgel colour Bubblegum on all nails and cure each layer 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
                          6. Take Selfgel colour Atomic Red and twist it above the Bubblegum colour. Cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
                          7. Finish your nail art by applying PN Selfgel Finish on all nails and cure for 30 seconds under the Selfgel LED lamp.
                          8. Remove the remaining sticky layer on all nails using a PN Cleanser wipe to reveal the impeccable shine.
